ATL, Is there more?

Welcome! I'm Tom Goetz a librarian at Harper College. Normally at this time of year I am counting the remaining days of Christmas break and anticipating the start of spring semester. Not this year. This semester I am on sabbatical. After 14 years at Harper I am opting out, at least for a few months. My family and I are headed for sunny Central America para aprender Espanol (to learn Spanish). First Stop... Atlanta Georgia. Just a quick stop our our way to Trujillo Honduras. I have to admit I thought there would be more to Atlanta. From what I can see there is a large airport, a Days Inn, a Denny's, a Waffle House, and a carpet store. As we flew in we saw many tall buildings in the distance so maybe there is more to it. I plan to look it up when I have a chance. Next stop San Pedro Sula, then on to La Ceiba. Stay tuned
